SHROOM DOOM

The unassuming Cavern, in the craggy cliffside. Fleeting portents in the Forest. And the town of Avondale, in all its blissful ignorance. Ignorance of what is to come.

Avondale plundered the cavern hoping to find precious minerals. Instead, they found their doom. The cliffside was burial grounds for royalty. The spirits, manifesting their anger and anguish in the form of mycelium and fungi, have started spilling out of the cavern. Time is running out.

Shroom Doom is a fungal misadventure for Cairn.

It includes:

• The Town of Avondale and its doomed residents.
• The Forest, which gets more dangerous as the days go by.
• The Myco-Cavern, which, due to the spores, must not be explored all at once.

The Myco-Cavern necessitates careful exploration due to the possibility of being infected with the spores. Only a night of rest away from the cavern can reset one's lungs.

However, time matters. The Forest gets more dangerous as the days go by, as does the looming threat of the Fungal Aberration...
